But today that's not who I am. Today, my name is Ned, and today I'm going to paint seven-eighths of this barge red.


That was a euphemism for red paint. I'm not actually going to hurt anyone.

[Between prepping for the port and Sandoval's CVI crisis, Felix has been more or less holed up continually in either the lab, the CES, or the engine room for the past few days, and he's making no exception for paintball. He has, however, obtained a paintball gun from somewhere (and a real one, but that's not important right now), and the former is resting on the table next to him, even though his attention is off the camera.

He's been keeping very much to himself, speaking only when necessary, and he looks a little tired, so his voice is a little hoarse when he replies:]

Are you really colorblind? How did I not know that?

Not like hereditary colorblind. Like 'the metal coating on my eyes bends light in and I can see the edge of the UV spectrum and all the infrared you never imagined the world puts off but the old visual spectrum is kind of different shades of gray now' colorblind.
